New India Assurance announces a change of guard at its Bahrain branch, which started operations in the Kingdom in 1959 in agency partnership with Intercol. After more than five years at the helm of the Bahrain operations, Mr. Vineet Kumar, Chief Operating Officer, is relieved of his duties in Bahrain on 17 November 2016 for a different role in the Company. Mr. Kumar had earlier worked in Mumbai and Hong Kong.

The 98-year-old, A- (Excellent) AM Best rated company, headquartered in Mumbai, has posted Mr. S. L. Koli as his successor. Mr. Koli comes from the Delhi corporate office and brings the expertise to work in a fast-changing market. He is supported by New India's existing staff and is already in the office to meet the requirements of our clients and customers, who can look forward to further improved service from our branches in Bahrain.
