The New India Assurance Co. Ltd. has appointed Mr. Satish Babu Khiradkar as Chief Operating Officer of its Bahrain operations. He took charge on 9 September 2026, succeeding Ms. Nimisha Kadam.
Mr. Khiradkar holds academic qualifications and professional insurance diplomas. His career with the company spans branch management, underwriting, finance and business development, and he has also served as guest faculty at insurance training institutes in India.
Taking charge, he thanked his predecessors and acknowledged the company's long relationship with Intercol and with its brokers and partners in the Kingdom. His focus, he said, will be customer-centric service, sustainable growth, prudent underwriting and closer ties with corporate customers and intermediaries.
